I shoot my 52-2 with the slide mount from BME and a 30mm Ultra Dot. I use 2.7 of Bullseye with Remington 148 grain HBWC, this is the standard load for the 52. I do however have a barrel weight that I bought from DJ Precision on my 52. The 52's suffer FTF and FTE from limp wristing and even with the...

I think the third target is upside down. Still doesn't explain but better. Will try and spin to correct. Ron I have a S&W 41, among a few others, but it is interesting how targets 3 & 4 are so different. It almost looks like you had a different point of aim for each target. I would do them ...

I have a S&W 41, among a few others, but it is interesting how targets 3 & 4 are so different. It almost looks like you had a different point of aim for each target. I would do them again. Once you get to the 25yd range, you should get a sub-1" groups at 25yds with the 41 and it will ho...

If you are using it for a pistol, you might find they won't fit. I have one on a Ruger SR-22 but it is almost the size of a full scope. To test my 50yd loads I mounted a pistol scope with 3-9 power. It really helped reduce the human error factor and increased the accuracy of my testing.

I have a couple Benelli MP90s (22 and 32). My rings mounted just fine. You might want to call Larry's Guns. They are a Benelli dealer and have been very helpful in solving various problems I've had. www.larrysguns.com

Looking for recommendations for my first Free Pistol

I have not shot Free Pistol before and need some expert advise! I have shot Bullseye for a few years and enjoy my Benelli MP90S. I think the "cant" on many of the free pistols are similar to the Benelli, so if that helps I might narrow some choices? Any recommendations would be appreciated...

chiltech500 - I made a mistake on my last post. I had good luck with 4.4gr of N310 on a 180gr LSWC bullet, not a 185gr. I purchased a used Ransom Rest recently, but have not used it yet. I did all my testing using a Hyskore pistol rest. It made things much more accurate than sand bags. Re: your ques...

I found 3.7gr of VV N310 with 200gr LSWC had the best accuracy for my gun and cycled my slide mounted dot efficiently.

I also used 4.4gr of VV N310 on a 185gr LSWC.

A friend of mine (high master) uses 4.0gr of Bullseye for his 185gr LSWC.

I worked up two loads, mostly for accuracy but then I also don't have to mess with the dot settings each match and practice sessions. I use a more accurate Zero 185 JHP which my gun likes better for 50yd, and then a 200gr LSWC for 25yd. Easy to change die settings for the two loads and now I won't f...

I don't have one, but have plenty of Ultradots. I have the Match Dot with 2 MOA and find it quite small for Bullseye shooting. Some guys like it for the 50yd, but hard to pick up on rapid fire. I noticed this has a single mounting point. I have a couple of Aimpoints that have a similar mount. The ra...

Welcome to Bullseye! I think you will find fellow shooters to be very helpful and accommodating regarding your standing/sitting needs. There are dozens of websites and books to peruse, but the best thing to do is get out there and shoot - especially matches. I was petrified my first match. One of my...

I started Bullseye 3 yrs ago and was in the low 500's and now I'm in the low 800's, so don't worry about your score - it will improve with practice. I do think it helps staying with one gun for a while. Getting use to the grip and trigger pull is most of the challenge, so once you have that the scor...
